We’re proud to work with partners who share this commitment and that our recent Gemstone Building secured a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certificate.

Sixpenny Group Community Support

Core Judo

Sixpenny Group are delighted to be the principal sponsor of Core Judo, an elite Judo school in Surrey founded and run by Commonwealth and British champion Jonathon Purssey.

The personal relationship between Jonathon Purssey and Sixpenny Group’s directors Egor Shestakov and David Bowcock spans more than 15 years.

The club has reached huge success and was recently appointed as one of only six ‘England Talent Development Centres’ (ETDCs), designed to help Judoka prepare for international competition. Being heavily community focused, they are also in partnership with ‘CLUB4’, the public-facing name for The Department of Education’s holiday, activity and food programme (HAF).

Core Judo recently constructed ‘The Dojo’, a purpose built, modern and sustainable home for their players situated in Thorpe. In addition to financial support, Sixpenny Group have been able to recycle building materials and fittings from some of our larger redevelopments.
